Based on a technique used by Andre-S-C [link] my former lecturer and mentor (still). I was inspired by a public speech he gave showcasing his work and a technique using hundreds of overlapping photographs to create bizzare works of art.

Similar to his approach, but adding my own unique twist, I created this piece using dozens of photographs I have of one of the most important people in my life, my cousin and best friend. I'm not lying when I say I've been working on this (on and off) for almost a year. The idea seems easy, but the application was a lot harder than I anticipated. I had a lot of variations before ending up with this piece.

The texture in the background was created using the strange symbol that formed in the center of her body, that was not planned, but is fascinating.
